Call of Duty®: WaW Review: One of The Best CoD Chapters Ever
Call of Duty®: WaW is a 1st person shooter game in the II World War setting developed by Treyarch in 2008. In this game, you can play as average soldiers of the Red Army and the United States, and participate in great historical battles in Russia, Japan, and Germany. This is the first chapter of CoD that presents zombie mode and split-screen cooperation. You can download Call of Duty®: WaW for you Xbox 360 and Xbox One, using the backward compatibility.

Call of Duty®: WaW game is a revolutionary title in the series. It’s the first Call of Duty that allows you to partly destroy the surroundings and dismember limbs of enemies. It means that you can see how specific bullet types and explosives tear the human body apart. The level of visual and audio realism in the game is exceptionally high due to the enhanced proprietary IW3.0 engine.

Call of Duty®: WaW gameplay brings in multiple new features to the CoD series. In this chapter, you can experience a much more realistic shooting that copies real physical properties, behavior, and sound of every weapon used in the game. New weapons include rifle grenade launchers, mines, and bayonets. You can also shoot various stationary cannons, mine-throwers, and anti-aircraft guns. It’s also the first game in the series in which you can find the secret alien blaster on the seashore in the first mission in Japan.
The combat in the game allows you to carry 2 light or heavy weapons, and up to 8 grenades of different function. You can move in 4 tactic ways, such as running, sprinting, sneaking, and crawling. The last 2 may help you to complete some stages without being detected.
The multiplayer mode allows you to play quick online matches that are similar to those in Modern Warfare. There’s also an option to complete the Call of Duty®: WaW full game in co-op with up to 3 friends online on Xbox 360. It’s also the first game that allows you to play split-screen campaign.

Call of Duty®: WaW review of PC, Wii, and Xbox 360 versions revealed that keyboard-plus-mouse and gamepad inputs are the most convenient means to play this game. Character physics simulate the realistic aiming process, so it’s very comfortable to use the Xbox controller even in cross-platform online battles.

To complete the Call of Duty: WaW you have to play for about 4 hours. Unlike the most recent chapter of the game, it’s a highly memorable experience. You are also likely to spend many hours playing one the Nacht Der Untoten map in Nazi Zombies mode.
Call of Duty®: WaW shooter game is one of the most significant representatives of the genre. It’s the first CoD that introduces advanced character and weapon physics, motion capture design, robust multiplayer and co-op features, and a cool zombie mode. This game is highly recommended to all fans of the series and 1st person shooters.
